In my case, it's a 2008 Chevrolet Express. I've driven it pretty often when we've been short of drivers. I was even in an accident (not my fault) in it back when it only had a mere 170k on the clock. In case you were wondering, when a cargo van hits a 3rd-generation Honda Accord that suddenly tried to turn left in front of it, the Accord loses.
I took this picture when the engine was off or you would see the 'check engine' light illuminated, because of course you would.

A volvo semi tractor that had about double this. It was my dad's work vehicle and he wanted to show me how to drive it and I mostly failed but I moved so I guess that counts as driving lol
any actual car I never drove near this many miles though. Probably at most like around 200k.

Since I can't legally drive yet, I'll just go with the highest mileage car I've been in. My grandparents 2000 Honda Accord Special edition. 160k.

Highest mileage driven: 536k miles, 2005 Dodge 1-ton cargo van. It was 6 years old at the time.

That would be my 95 Accord. I got it with 70k, got up to 145k before the motor died, and ran it up 180k on the second engine, when it was stolen.

My current daily driver, a 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with 229,000 miles. It starts and runs just fine, all the electronics work and the interior is actually in great condition. It does need some rear differential bushings, but that is to be expected.

This Chevy is supposed to be semi-retired, but we keep having to use it. We had 7-8 Ford Transit Connects and I don't think a single one made it to 150k. They were pieces of shit.

A 90s Mazda B2300 with 405k. My work truck when I was a courier. I hit a deer on the interstate one Christmas Eve day, and they decided not to fix it. They sold it to a friend of mine for $200. Being a body shop guy, he put $200 worth of parts into it and put it back on the road for even more miles.

Someone I know has a Nissan pickup with 750k. There's a red one that is in the Castle Rock area with similar mileage that the owner advertises in its rear window in huge white numbers.

The guy who gave me my current car said that the previous owner told him that it has 875,000 miles on it. It only has five digits on the odo, so it might be true.
Do I believe them? Not heavily. Will I say I have a million mile car if I put on another 125k? Absolutely.

That would have been my families 1996 GMC Suburban (remember when the Yukon XL didn't exist?) with 389,000 miles on it. It ran like a champ, until I wrecked it...

...I bought it off of a Lockheed Martin technician, who's other cars were a '76 911 and a '78 stringray.
It had 463k on it the last time that I saw it. Believe it or not, they'll pretty much run forever if you get the factory paper head gaskets from the 95-98's swapped out for a steel one.

A Chevy dealer in Aurora had a little red Metro sitting out front that had 550k on it. They said it wasn't for sale, they took it in on trade and just wanted to display it. They also said they had a surprising number of offers to buy it.

I have a 2010 transit connect with about 100k on it. We've been over loading it with paper and Mail since day one and it's still going strong. We got it for nothing during the cash for clunkers campaign.

Rode in a Town Car from SFO airport into the city with 672k on it last year.

Watch out for that transmission. It failed in more than half of ours. Two of them went around 60k. And we were religious about the service schedule with all of them.

My dad's '09 328i has about 250k+ km on it, and is likely the highest mileage '09 3 series in Ontario. For 3 years his commute was 200 km round trip, so it was 1000 km each week. He's done proper maintenance on it and the only things to fix were consumables like brakes and tires. Been a great car!

Head gasket leak, probably due to a warped head. Started making chocolate pudding in the radiator, and eventually siezed a piston and one of the rods snapped and punched a hole in the block. I nursed it as long as possible, but didnt get it fixed in time.
